Reed at 7 months

You've now grown up to a happy seven month old Reed and we love it! You are so interactive now sitting on your own, laughing, talking and playing. It amazes us to watch you see a toy you want and just reach over to get it. It wasn't that long ago that you were just a lap baby and now you are enjoying all you can in the world around you. You do still love to be a lap baby and that is a-ok by your mama!

We started solids with you last month and surprisingly you don't really like them. It's shocking really because to maintain your gigantic size (you were over 24 pounds at 6 months) you are going to have to eat something but we'll keep offering and some day you'll take us up on it.

You sleep better now but just when we get momentum your GERD gets worse or you sprout a tooth which you have four of now. I remember with Lucia when she went from the toothless grin to a mouth of teeth how funny it looked and we feel the same about you. You give your open mouth smile and here are four choppers staring right at us.

You still are the happiest baby we've ever met and are content to sit, play, travel or be mauled by your sister all with a grin on your face. You are without a doubt super easy going.

You are trying to pull yourself up on things but thankfully haven't succeeded yet and you still do your 'one pack' stomach crunch trying to get up from laying down to sitting but that is still an illusive trick. Mostly you just sit and laugh and watch your very busy sister run around you.
