Children's Museum

Thanks to an expiring Groupon to the Children's Museum we had a good excuse to get out of the house and spend an entire day (with a couple of hours back at home for a nap) having fun and playing. Both Lucia and Reed had a great time running around and playing with all the great stuff they have there. Reed especially loved a water table and Lucia loved, well, pretty much everything but particularly the mini grocery store as well as the pretend fire truck and Metro bus. She even took pretend money from one of the dads and gave him pretend change! As you can see from the photos Reed got a little tuckered towards the end and just kicked back in the oversized chair and ate snacks while Lucia and Daddy ran around. On our way back to the car we heard the church bells from a local Catholic church and Lucia was so excited she asked if we could go in. We spent a few minutes at mass listening to the singing before Reed got tired of being confined. However, the best part was that after the priest said a little prayer and everyone said "Amen" and Reed clapped and said (fairly loudly) "YEAH!" It was very funny.
