Uncle Brien, Auntie Sarah and cousins Aiden and Ava came for a visit this weekend. I love that they live close enough that they will see both kids grow up. They all held Reed and showered love and attention on his big sister. Lucia couldn't have been happier to have them here. She loves family so much and ran harder and played more than she probably every has. She looks up to Aiden and Ava and wanted to do everything that they were doing. Ava and her played pretend in the backyard, Aiden read her books, we spent time in the park and we took a trip to Bainbridge Island one day for their annual summerfest and street fair. This was Reed's first ferry ride and true to form he slept right through it and most of their visit. We'll tell him when he's older about how much fun we had and how much he was loved.
