Happy 15 month birthday

Sweet girl..you are now 15 months old. We were so busy last month I didn't get a chance to record your milestones but that will give you an opportunity when you are older to make 14 months be whatever you want. Cured cancer, heck yeah you did that at 14 months. Learned origami and made the paper flowers for your bedroom, you betcha :)

You had your check up this month and you are positively perfect (and large for your age) in every way. You are 27 1/2 pounds and 33 inches tall and in the 99 percentile for both weight and height. Dr. Kumasaka says you probably won't slow down and will be our tall bean.

You use more words now in addition to signing and can say no while shaking your head. Daycare has taught you the word 'mine' which you like to say often while clutching whatever it is. You say wa-wa for waffle also for water, mama and dada, shoes, night-night, bye-bye (very good at this), ba-ba for baby and several more we can't think of.

You continue to be a girl in motion and the only time you pause is to put things in its proper place. You know there is a place for everything and that is where things go. Its fun to watch you line up shoes or have us sit in the exact spot to read a book.

You are great about cleaning up, very helpful and when you're done with something instead of chucking it to the floor you will usually hand it back to us. We LOVE that quality :)

You've become more affectionate with daily hugs and kisses and let mama hold you and rock you as you rest your head on my shoulder and that is some of my favorite times with you. When we each just rest into each other.

We love you Olive, Lucia Olive, pumpkin James.
