Zoo

Lucia and I joined our friends Chris and Lilly for an outing to the zoo today. It was a glorious day of sunshine and warm weather and we had a wonderful time. It was the first day of the new penguin exhibit and the place was packed! 

We went to the zoo and aquarium for the first time several months ago but Lucia couldn't quite see the animals or she was more interested in the people. Today, she was more excited about the visit and while I think we're still not quite ready, we will be soon. We saw the lions, bears, giraffes, elephants and when we got to the penguin exhibit.....Lucia was asleep! All that excitement wore her out.
