Jon has been a "long suffering" Washington Capitals fan for most of his life and it is now the playoff season. Lucia will share his love of hockey or at the very least understand that this is part of who Dada is. When I was pregnant with Lucia I attended almost all of Jon's games that he played and I even went into labor at one of his hockey games. Thank goodness they didn't go into overtime! Lucia has watched professional games on the television with Dada (she doesn't really watch but plays nearby as he watches) on the rare occasion he gets to see his favorite team in action. Today is game seven of the series against the New York Rangers. The Capitals were down three games to none and they came back to tie the series 3-3. Both Lucia and I are keeping our fingers crossed on game day. Go Caps! Here's some pictures of her in her first Capitals shirt to show her support.
