Sitting up by herself

After all those weeks of trying, Lucia finally succeeded in sitting up by herself. She's been battling a bad cold these last few days but she's been handling it all in her cheery way. Last night, as Jon was lying on the floor playing with her she sat up from playing on her back. I was resting on the couch and didn't get to see the momentous event but she repeated it again a minute later. We're in for trouble now because she can pull herself up from sitting so now that she can roll or scoot to where she wants to go, she can now get to a place to pull herself up. Let the adventure begin!
