Lucia LOVES the song 'You are my sunshine' and it is the one song that will get her to stop crying, fall asleep and smile on cue. Except for the pretty first line, the song is very sad but she loves it and there have been times when we've song her to sleep with it if she's agitated in the car. No other song will do and for Pete's sake don't stop singing it :) I've sung it to her at least once a day for the majority of her life and I don't imagine we'll be stopping soon. Jon and I decided to change the verses (while keeping the chorus) to make a more upbeat song. We may sing out of tune but we're getting creative. Feel free to send us revised text if you have some you'd like us to sing.
