Friends...thank God for friends

We've been so lucky to have the friends we have here in Seattle and around the country and world. All of you have offered your support while we adjust to life as a family and we really appreciate it. Friends have called in to let us know they were thinking of us, they've brought food over and they've offered help. We're incredibly grateful. Here's a picture of my beautiful friend Tracy who is 18 weeks pregnant. She came over yesterday and brought us a delicious dinner and a huge hanging plant (to block our ugly neighbors house from the front porch). This was on top of the cake and coffee she brought us last week.

In other news, I'm happy to report that Lucia seemed to like her bath last night unlike the first bathtub experience. Thank goodness! I hope that keeps up. Here's a photo from the event.

And today we took a trip to Jon's office for lunch which was so great to get out of the house and spend time with him. We both miss him during the day and so getting some midday time with him brightened all of our spirits. This is a photo taken in his office.
