It's a................kidney stone

Easter weekend, is my favorite holiday. I delight in the coming of spring, Easter baskets, egg hunts and Easter brunch. This year I planned my usual brunch with my family away from family - close friends who have celebrated with me for many of my years in Seattle. I went to the store and bought a basket and filled it with candy and toys for my friend's son Luca and prepared much of the food ahead of time....and then...it happened. Kidney stones. Fun, fun, fun. Jon and I spent the better part of the weekend in the Childbirth Center at Northwest Hospital where I will eventually give birth. As much as I wish we didn't have to go through that, I was able to meet the wonderful staff and see the facility and we both felt really well cared for. I think this will be a great place to give birth and thankfully, I know feel much better.
