The 20 week ultrasound.....

is a little fuzzy :) I went back to my doctors office this week for my 20 week ultrasound instead of Evergreen Hospital where the 13 week test was done. Evergreen has a superior machine but for those of you that live in the Northwest, it involves a dreaded trip over a floating bridge to get to it. My doctors office is very near my work so we went there instead. This meant quicker results but a fuzzier picture. We learned what was most important though, that SBJ is growing fine, all organs and bones are happy and healthy and we are on our way to a bouncing baby.......?.............oh yeah, we didn't find that out. :) Our ultrasound technician told us that SBJ wouldn't have let us find out even if we wanted to. Turns out he/she is quite modest. We're going to have to wait to see SBJ in person in June and we'll send pictures then. The two pictures are of the face and of the feet. For those that have seen sonograms before this may be clearer and for the rest, just imagine a healthy baby smiling back at you. We actually think that SBJ might have been sleeping because he/she kept their left arm and hand tucked behind its head for most of the exam. Just laying back enjoying the ride. We're thrilled at the good news, happy its now over half way to the finish line and looking forward to seeing SBJ in person.
