Syttende Mai!

Happy Norwegian Constitution Day!  (No, we haven't renounced our citizenship and moved to Norway ... not that we haven't considered it).  Owing to the large population of Norwegians in the Seattle area (specifically Ballard) they have a big parade each year on May 17th to celebrate.  This year we all went down with Noma and some friends to watch and enjoy.  Lucia mostly loved getting to hold baby Nora (as did Heidi, which you can see in this video) and Reed had a great time clapping for all the bands.  A fun time was had by all until the Seafair Pirates shot off their boat cannon and scared the bejeezus out of everyone.  Thankfully it was the very last float in the parade and we all recovered quickly.
