One of my favorite things growing up was to decorate a gingerbread house and the kids are now old enough to start the tradition. Thankfully, it is a lot easier than when I was a kid as the house comes pre-assembled and all candy in neat bags. Reed LOVED the experience but that could have been from the pound of candy he ate during the process. Lucia of course took it quite serious and wanted to decorate it all and was a little sad when we were done. I think she has an artist's heart.
