Lucia's first day of preschool

Lucia started preschool today in the Bug room at her school. She has been transitioning for more than a month and LOVED playing in there with the new toys, new teachers and being a "big" girl but this morning she was a little worried to start and clung to us. We showed her around her new room again so she could see her new cubbie, her picture in several places and then Sister Stella took her to the library to sit and read a book. I know she'll be fine and in no time be skipping to school but the transition will take some time until a new routine is in place.

My friend Chris emailed this picture from later in the morning as she dropped off her girl Lilly to the room. Lucia now looks happy that her friends are coming to school and I can't wait to hear how the day went.



Two years of preschool and then off to kindergarten! The time is going by so fast and Lucia is already looking forward to the next bigger and more fun thing. She told me last night that when she goes to kindergarten she is going to move out of the house, move in with Auntie Sa-Sa and Uncle Brien (so she can live with Ava). :)
