Quick update

We are so proud of (Baby) Reed because today, for the first time, he spent almost all day in the Young Toddler Room at daycare instead of the baby room. He even napped and ate lunch there and according to his teachers only cried briefly right before his nap. He's not supposed to start in that room until September but it looks like he's ready to go now. We are so relieved that he enjoys "school" so much.

On the Lucia front, the local firefighters hold a fundraiser called Fill the Boot where they stand at stoplights and collect money in their firefighter boots. When we gave money on our way home tonight Lucia asked why they were putting the money in a boot. After my long and adult-level explanation Lucia said, "but it's stinky in there!". Cracked us up.
