Lucia's first trip to the dentist

Lucia went to the dentist for the first time today and I was so proud of her. We watched video's of kids going to the dentist in the days leading up to the visit and she came to my appointment the week before. By the time it was her time she seemed quite happy. She let the hygienist put all the tools in her mouth and then sat on our dentists lap while she showed her how she brushes her teeth. Great job Lucia! Our dentist Dr. Hackett told Lucia she had wonderful teeth, did a great job brushing and that she had all 20 of her teeth already in. To celebrate a job well done the dentist gave her a prize (she choose silly bands) and a new toothbrush. Lucia insisted on Reed also getting a prize (she choose a small ducky for the bath). Such a sweet girl. I hope you have your Daddy's good teeth and not mine and that you always enjoy the dentist as much as this time.
