Two months old

Our son is now two months old. Jon reminded me when I was pregnant of how fast the first few months go, the sleep deprivation is over before you know it even though it never seemed like it at the time. He was right. I look over at our boy asleep in the swing and think to myself, where did the time go?

He has been such a joy and we love him so much. He's an easy boy who just wants to be held, mostly by his mama. He tolerates being mauled (with love) by his sister at least twice a day and eats like a champ. So much that he is in 6-9 month clothes. We find out on Monday the new stats but I believe he'll be off the charts.

He's not a big fan of being on his tummy on the mat. This form of exercise he puts up with for a few minutes but then wants to be turned over or held. We try though. He has great neck strength so we're not worried but if he wants to roll over at some time he's going to have to have some mat time :) Mind you, I'm in no hurry for that.

He's still sleeping well with usually a 5-6 hour stretch at night which they say is technically sleeping through the night. But he eats every two hours during the day and I'm looking forward to that extending out a little.
