We've thought for sometime that Lucia is very independent and dressing herself is her new love. She'll find clothes and put shirt over shirt on, find pants she can slip on herself and jackets she can zip and unzip. While she's tried to put her shoes on by herself, it has always been more difficult but tonight, all by herself, very patient, she sat on the floor of the living room and put both shoes on by herself. They were the polka dot Mary Jane's with the Velcro strap and we and she were so proud of her. Don't grow up too quick honey....keep a little baby for a little while longer.

My goodness - she does look grown up in that picture (and very proud). Maybe it's the mouth full of teeth - such a big girl!
