We had a great Easter today. The morning started early (5.15 a.m.) when the excitement of the day woke the kids. Aiden and Lucia woke first, quickly followed by Ava. We stalled until 6.00 a.m. when we had to wake Brien and Sarah up so we could begin the Easter egg hunt. The Easter bunny had left half eaten carrots on the table with a note for the kids, eggs around the house and baskets hidden. It was raining today so the Easter bunny decided to leave them all inside - good thinking bunny! We had brunch with Yoma and the Neudecks and all left happy and full. Lucia's still too young to understand what it all means but she loved all the hugs and having her family to celebrate with her and that was what counted the most.
