Lucia woke up one day a week ago and decided she was ready to sit up on her own. She might have been doing it for longer but when I came home from work one day there she was sitting up next to Jon playing with her toys with no help for balance from us. Our big girl. She does fall every once in a while but it doesn't seem to bother her and she just goes into playing on her stomach or back as if she meant to do that all along. Here are pictures of her sitting up.

sitting up is so fun - they have a whole new perspective of the world! Such a big girl now...
She's obviously quite gifted! but then you knew that, didn't you!
