Lucia, you're another month older and with each month you are getting more independent. You now smile at strangers and friends where you used to be shy and smile only for family. You are quick to grasp things in your hands and you've started the multi-roll approach to getting where you want to go or for that toy out of reach. You can now sit up for a period of time without our help and you've started to sleep a consistent eight hours a night and for that we are so grateful as we are all now more rested and happier. But who couldn't be happy with you my love as you are, just as your name means, the "light" of our lives. Happy birthday honey.
