Jon, Lucia and I joined our friends Melissa, Jim and Lucy for the Prostate Cancer Walk this morning. Last year Melissa and I were both pregnant with our girls and I think this is a wonderful tradition for us to continue year after year. We walk in memory of Melissa's father John and we walk for my father who is currently cancer free after treatment last year.
It was raining this morning when we left the house and we were prepared to get wet but it cleared up at race time and by the end of the walk the sun had come out. It was a fitting way to end the walk, hopeful and sunny. Thank you John for sending us the good weather :)
